I'll do an actual H2O check in the morning. Will pack rectal thermometer in my car.

No official word, but unofficially (and I stress this), it was around 75-76ish over the weekend if memory serves me correctly. However, we have some heat again this week so it may come up some (but not much). I'm willing to go out on a limb and say that's it's pretty much a done deal that it's 78 or below on race day. However, that is UNOFFICIAL. Be prepared in case I'm wrong.

So I mentioned the water temps to a friend of mine who has done 4 IMs, and he said he wouldn't wear a wetsuit for fear of overheating. I think he's nuts. I have a sleeveless and the air temp will likely be around 70. I would think overheating on the swim would not be a big concern.

This is what I do.

tri-dogg,

Should hear from the city on Monday!

The news should be good though, it has rained a bunch and the air temps have been cooler.

I'll post ASAP.

I finished a 6 mile run this morning around 7:00 AM then waded down the swim ramp and sat in the water. It felt fan-tastic!
