I looked at the bike course profile and it seems a little rolling. Anyone familiar with course, would you say these rollers are rideable in the aero posistion.

I ride a good portion of this course every week for my training rides. There is no reason to not be in the aero position unless you need a break. I will probably be in for nearly all of the 112. Although it does get a little rolly, with the wind that is ever-present in OK, you are really increasing your workload (i.e., drag) if you get out of it. Just my advice. Best of luck.

Thanks for the quick response. What about wheels, would a disk be advisable with the wind?

Anything short of a tornado, I will be on a disc. It's a myth that a disc is hard to ride in the wind (unless you are in Kona-like wind gusts). Here in OK, which is always windy (10-20+ mph), I've never considered not riding it at any race around here. And the windier it is, the more benefit you get out of the disc. Unless you're in my age group, then you should go with 32-spoke box rims. :)

And what would be your age group and guesstimate on time this year? If you don't mind me asking.

There are some fast people in our AG who are doing this year's race. Should be competitive. Best of luck.

I have heard registration is up compared to last year, I am looking forward to seeing the list online. I have heard there was going to be some pretty fast times this year. I just wonder "how fast."

If conditions are similar to last year's, I'd say low-mid 10s will likely be the top 5 spots, depending on who shows up. That's hard to predict. Some guy who goes 9:30 on a regular basis may decide to do this race or something this year. Never can tell. But if conditions are similar to 2005, anything below 11 will surely be one of the top places, if not the winner.

Chalk up another for the M 30-34 AG. Go easy on me.

This is what I do.

Rolling but hills not a problem. Wind was more of an issue than hilles..Im planning on a disc for 07.
